As someone who doesn't give a flying fig about England's national disgrace of a team maybe I shouldn't comment but surely 2-0 vs Malta GC is as bad as losing to ASDA. (sorry Iceland)

So Rooney said the players were shocked at the booing!! Why? They were playing a national team where the whole population is less than 2 x Plymouth, the average monthly salary for a Prem Div player (Malta) is £1000 tops but probably far less, the team rank 164 places below England, some players are p/t ... etc ... etc... 2-0 !! Rooney needs to smell the coffee. Now they are saying ''Southgate for the job'' Same old rubbish. (Not that I watch England at all)
