Since I seem to have been given the job of organising this ...

For various reasons which may or may not be obvious, it's best we don't post the venue for our next Freak Meet on here.

So far, it's Cerbera, Joe, Gob (maybe) and me. Anybody else?

I've actually got a 24 hour work shift in Plymouth on Sat, but if there's nothing happening at lunchtime I'll try and pop up for one of those non alcoholic thingys (UGH)

Zandra commonly known as Zee or ZeeZan will be unable to attend the freak meet, due to having previous commitments in being an aviva. Handing out flyers and the like. She would very much like to pop along to one of your gatherings at some stage. She might be one of them from the other site but I'm sure u would enjoy her company one day.

I was only rumbled once with my school sick notes, I tried to be smart but couldn't spell diarrhoea (mind considering I've just had to look it up in the dictionary) I should have bluffed when pulled up.

Peggy, what has happened since, that has made you feel unsafe about stating what pub you will be in? If it was any sort of threatening behaviour I hope it was reported to the police. If not, I don't see any issue. I have no problem with you wanting to keep it quiet, just wishing to understand the reasoning behind it.

You'd also think that no-one would particularly care if someone chooses to post his opinions on more than one Argyle supporters messageboard. However, some of the messages I've received since I started posting on here leave me in no doubt that there are some who see posting on ATD as some sort of treachery. It really is a strange mindset that sees people sending abusive messages (always hidden away via PM or text - never courageous enough to say what they're thinking publicly) to people because of where they choose to express an opinion. With the way things have recently been inflamed - how many people think that the threat to stab Chris Webb came from ATD because of the tone of his cyber-flounce post? - I don't blame Peggy for organising this quietly. There's some out there who worry me.
