GASB Clarification!

No matter what your viewpoint, it's rather hard to come form one if you are unclear as to what the facts are.

The one thing that is clear from Saturdays Guild hall meeting is that nobody seems really sure what has been proposed by Brent for the GASB. Many it seems couldn't even hear what he was saying?

This situation should be remedied immediately - meaning yesterday...

It would seem to have been a huge waste of James Brent's time if nobody understood what he meant to explain?

Is there anyone out there who can reach Mr. Brent and get a clarification?

Any suggestions as to what should be done, anybody?

Do you mean the membership, the role, or both?

I feel exactly the same, it's all very confusing and a non event.

What we seem to have at the moment is the skeleton of an idea. Until there's a bit of flesh on the bones I don't see how anyone can throw their hat into the ring. At present we don't know what sort of commitment will be needed, what (if any) powers the Board will have or indeed what the eligibilty criteria will be to either stand for election or vote.

It's a nice idea, poorly communicated, and possibly completely impractical to administer.

some meat definately needs putting on the bones............
