Agree on both counts.

Forest- big club. Fans quite rightly impatient.

McLeish may be a hero to Villa fans for relegating the Blues but I serously doubt they'd be happy with him as manager. I reckon Mark Hughes for Villa.

And I see the Wally with the Brolly is in the frame for the Forest job.....

I think that would be a good appointment. He was woeful with England but I always thought he was a decent coach. I agree with you about Forest being a big club though. Its amazing to think they have won the European Cup more then the league title.

Could be a good appointment,as Frank says, did fairly well at club sides- even won the Dutch league (I know its crap) with Twente.

its not the fans that are impatient at forest it was davies himself. he'll find someone willing to back his ambition elsewhere, tyson the same, gone to derby for a princely wage rise

Don't think I've ever heard anything quite as funny as the interviews he gave speaking Dutch !

Some of Stapleton's interviews were pretty funny, looking back now

I still can't believe the FA appointed McLaren as England Manager. The term clueless is over used football but not in his case.

I don't rate McLaren that highly even if he did well with Twente. They were bankrolled to the title as much as he had much to do with it.

He hardly did well at Boro or Wolfsburg did he? Why else do you think he's now managing a second tier club who've not been in the Prem for 15 years?
