Seriously this game should have been high risk anywhere it was played. Great idea to stick it in Leeds.

I think there would have been trouble wherever it was played but Leeds was not the best place I would say.

That was one of the most tense games of cricket I have watched in years.

I watched the highlights on the news, I thought it went on a bit tbh.

Watched every minute of it on free terrestrial tv, as a lifelong cricket fan I can say it was one of the, if not the greatest limited over game of all time. Am still buzzing this morning!

Yeah that last hour was unprecedented. Tiny margins. If matey on the boundary releases that catch a split second before, it’s out. Instead we get a 6. Then the chances of the throw hitting Stokes bat and running to the boundary for 4 would be astronomical.

Very lucky. But sometimes you make your own luck.

Wow Umpires have been criticised over the 6 awarded and the reasons why it should only have been awarded as a 5......when the throw came in initially the batsmen hadnt at that point crossed and if the rules had been applied correctly it should have been 1 run plus the 4 overthrows in that scenario
As such NZ would have won

It wasn't even that. It was 1 run from 241. Who is to say Ben Stokes wouldn't have clattered any of the remaining deliveries out of the ground.
