Not a good week for Bristol managers:

Bit of a surprise-seems to have done a reasonable job there and the fans are very unhappy about it. Schuey for Ashton gate speculation over the coming days no doubt. Ainsworth sacked as well, managerial merry go round is in full swing.

doesnt this make schuey the 2nd longest reigning manager in the league now with his sacking??? lowe being first.

bit crazy but this is the championship where managers are fired for far less than they would be in the league one and two. Im sure if we were rooted to the bottom of the table and no sign of winning anytime soon the club would probably sack schuey too despite of what he achieved last season and giving him a new, improved and longer contract.

Bristol City will already have identified and will be talking to the preferred candidate(s). Schuey may well be among them but if he is and if I was a Bristol City fan I'd be absolutely horrified given Argo's current league position. Maybe Schuey is a candidate because the BCFC board may like his style of football but we're relegation fodder and Schuey showed incredible naivety at Ashton Gate (of all places) with that baffling line up. If we were consistently top half I'd be more worried than currently. To other clubs Schuey did brilliantly in L1 but looks to be really struggling in the Championship, albeit with a minute budget.
