He might have done, they still treated it with all the intensity of a training match. Exeter looked pretty lack lustre until they brought Nardiello on and McNish offers an outlet. For all that Liverpool had the match sewn up by then and had long since taken the foot off the minimal gas they had applied in the first instance.

Interesting to see Joss Stone in the crowd too, anyone would have thought they were cameras at the ground and that she had an album out

Still that penalty should justify the open top bus parade.
