Funny that because my mate who runs a pub in Yate had Witherspoon doing an evening and it was sold out. Just shows it's not the celebrity it's where the night is being held.

He charged about £20 a head and he took a fortune at the bar.

He has interesting stories to tell as he had a varied career suing don king etc etc so i would have thought the gigs would have been popular but i guess not. Unless there was another reason ie peter jones didnt like him.

I thought it was about a pub crawl, as no one in Plymouth can say wetherspoons for some reason.
