Boss Sheridan maintains search for striker

John Sheridan says he is still planning to recruit a striker after one deal fell through.

Sheridan wants cover when on-loan Zak Ansah returns to Charlton next month.

"I've been trying to bring someone in and I was hoping he would be here for the weekend. It was all done and he's let us down big time," said Sheridan.

"Obviously with Zak Ansah going back, I'm looking to fill that area and make sure we've got a bit of strength in depth for when that comes."

doubt he will look at him atm given he is still fighting to get fit. i suspect come january he'll find a new club either on loan or perm.
