One year deal seems a bit short. I'd have expected the club to put three years on the contract. He's good enough for this league and the one above. Glad he's signed though as we have two decent keepers now. He was my player of the year last season and saved us so many points.

I was surprised at the one year deal also.

I wonder if that means he really wanted to get away so wanted only a short-term deal. Or does Sheridan not think he can do a job at a higher level? Or is the club not wanting to commit itself to spending beyond this season? Or do they know the world will come to an end in 2014 so it doesn't matter anyway?

Who knows?

It wouldn't surprise me if this is linked to baby James and his planning games, get the plans passed and he will be Green through and through, dyed in the wool Janner supporter, (for at least three years) if he gets knocked back at planning then the team gets it.

Good news. Grown steadily better as his time with us has gone on and we now have two keepers of high League Two quality competing for a starting spot.

One year deal is a bit of a funny one but better than leaving. Now for Baz to sign up and then for some wide men and strikers please Shezza.

Great news 2 good keepers now.

Maybe JS said he's going for promotion and Cole said if we don't get it he'd want to leave, hence the 1 year contract?

Cole and McCormick will be a great battle to witness next season. I truly hope (although im not overly confident he will) that the next player to sign his deal is BAZ.

Im positive Vassell and Gurrieri will sign there deals.

My thoughts too Iggy. I also don't reckon the financial package will have been very enticing.

Hoping that Jake is between the sticks for most of the season, I would rather watch him as first team goalie. Glad he is keeping faith with PAFC.
