The Brexit Party even won a seat in Scotland, I bet Sturgeon is annoyed at that ?.

Here is a run down from the beeb

Whether he’s liked or not Farage is a leader and a Bleddy good communicator, everybody’s fully aware of what he stands for.
Where are the leaders/communicators in the main parties or any of the others for that matter ? There Bleddy aren’t any!

This will be making the leadership race a bit more interesting. Tories can't ignore this message.

If an election were to be called sometime after the new Tory PM is announced (a long shot probably), the Brexit Party will do very well in such a situation.

I would also say that the Lib Dems will have a good campaign too, along with the Greens/SNP.

Back in 2016 you could not have predicted any of this even if you had tried.

It's fook in hilarious watching all the long faces and the sheer denial from some quarters about what just happened. The openly remain views of all the urban based based media companies are still there, still in denial of the fact that they are completely out of kilter with the views of the majority of the public. We have been told for three years now that no one wants a cliff edge, DISASTOROUS Brexit yet the polls would seem to suggest this as total bullshit. Even so the Gaurdian still sees the absolute arse feckin the Tories and Labour got at Nigies hand as a Remainer victory. Feckin hilarious and completely untrue. We now have Jeremy Female Genitalia telling us to vote for him so he can protect us from what we voted for! Do these roasters ever talk to the public outside of the Capitals wine bars? The only way that the Tories would win another election is to man up and say we are perfectly willing and ale to leave in October, and actually plan for it not just pretend we will, Labour will then have to offer a public vote, loads of Labour voters will defect to Tories and we will finally get the Brexit we voted for. I've never voted Tory in my life btw but there are many more like me out there. In the meantime it's all good for a laugh.

Apparently this election is different, it's about combining all the votes of the losers to see who came out on top. Congrats to Huddersfield Town, Premier league champions 18/19.

The smears started Sunday night when Alastair Campbell insinuated that the Brexit party has received Russian money. He also stated that the Brexit party lost in Wales even though they had the biggest share of the vote.

Yep just been reading about now, apparently all votes for Plaid Cymru (which want independence from UK also known as leaving) and The SNP were actually votes to remain in the EU. And I could have sworn the Wee Kranky woman was campaigning for another vote to leave the UK and is where her support came from, if they were real remainers why disnt they all vote Limp Dems? That's so fooked up you couldn't make it up. Kranky was vehemently opposed to hard border with Ireland but now campaigning to leave the UK and stay in the EU? So a hard border between Scotland and England is somehow Ok? Maybe we could just repair Hadrians wall, we could police it with Romanians dressed as Romans, it would be great for the tourists.

Also reading that the staunch Remainer and poison dwarf Bercrow is not standing down as speaker yet as he sees he's job as preventing no deal. Where in the name of fook does he get the mandate to do that? Can you imagine if the speaker was a no deal advocate his little feet wouldn't touch the ground.

This is what the government says his responsibilities are,
The Speaker is an MP, with the post occupied by John Bercow since 2009. The modern Speaker is politically impartial and expected to avoid taking a political stance or favouring particular interests over others.
Obviously a caveat there somewhere to explain how he can take sides if it's against the will of the electorate.
This from the Beeb,
BBC deputy political editor John Pienaar says Mr Bercow's announcement is potentially a Brexit game-changer, which will anger a lot of Brexiteers because they suspect - rightly - that he is ready to help MPs construct a parliamentary roadblock to a no-deal exit.
It's democracy but not as we know it.

I see Trump is putting his nose in where it is not wanted, IE - endorsing Boris and Farage.

He also goes on to say that he would not pay a penny to the EU for leaving.

I was watching the news last night and they were saying Trump loves all the pomp and ceremony that goes with a state visit, although I feel he looks well out of place.

Down to the nitty gritty political stuff today.

I will be glad when this here Tory leadership contest is over and we can get back to the amusing shanningams that is Brexit. If it's Boris, then strap yourself in as it's gonna be a rocky ride.

And its not done them any harm.

I see the anti British and anti democracy remainers are still peddling doom and gloom if we leave without a deal with the help of the Bias Broadcasting Corp.

Funny how they still go on about Bojo and the leave bus slogan but nothing about the remainers lies about what would happen if we voted to leave.

PostSubject: Re: EU referendum...THE RESULT...and aftermath...   EU referendum...THE RESULT...and aftermath... - Page 39 EmptySat Jul 06, 2019 12:04 pm

Ex MI6 boss adds his two penneth to our non democratic process,

In the surprisingly frank exchange, Sir John said there were concerns in Whitehall about the direction the country is heading.
"I think there is a lot of anxiety as we leave the European Union, we take a huge risk to our international standing, to the strength of the British economy."
He said former prime minister David Cameron was "unwise" to call the EU referendum in 2016, adding that it had left the country "badly divided" and the UK's standing in the world "severely diminished".

It should be obvious to anybody now about the wheeling and dealing going on in dark corridors by public servants who only support democracy if it aligns with their own Old Etonian belief system. Why should Whitehall and the security services saying or doing anything that could shape our future? They have a mandate to work for the country be that Corbyn, The Communists (if elected by the public) or God help us a PM that wants to leave the EU. Whitehall is here to run thing, lol, and MI6 to keep us safe that's irrespective of which party or PM is elected. What's next a miliray coup to save us?
