Burton Albion Vs Plymouth Argyle match day

Argyle will look to earn their first league double over Burton Albion this weekend when they travel to the Pirelli Stadium looking to further solidify their place in the Sky Bet League One play-off places.

The Greens have never beaten Burton away from home but come into the game with seven wins from their last eight matches.

The Burton are back on home soil tomorrow and will look to leave last week’s 3-0 defeat away at Morecambe behind them. Despite being out of form, Albion’s last home match ended in a 3-2 victory over Fleetwood Town after an impressive fightback from 2-0 down.

Plymouth Argyle come into the fixture off the back of a 1-0 home victory over promotion rivals Oxford United. The Pilgrims have won seven of their last eight games, keeping a clean sheet in each one of those victories.

Oumar Niasse will miss out due to personal reasons while Conor Shaughnessy begins his suspension tomorrow after his red card away at Morecambe last week.
Ciaran Gilligan suffered a slight injury against Morecambe but has trained this week.
Adlene Guedioura is earmarked to return from the squad following his return from international duty with Algeria.
