I have never known such a strange season with so much dependent on so few players.
Fascinating stuff, and the players themselves must be feeling the huge gap in performance when 2 or 3 players are missing.
Home form has dropped off a cliff.

Could be a bad case of Jimmy doubt. That statement of his really couldn't have helped the mood.

What statement ?

Brent referring to having good players that will be in demand, and implying the marketplace is the marketplace.
He didn't have to say it, and in fact, shouldn't have.

Inevitable. We are in deep deep shit. Easily by far the worst team in the division.

Of course but I think it's bollocks in this case. Why would players in a team flying high at the top of the league feign injury? Looking for issues where there are none.

Feck off Brent.

Sell the club to someone who could actually provide Adams with the funds he needs.

You can't make silk purse out of a sow's ear.

The club these days is all about unfounded positivity, sycophants, buckets, photoshoots, and avivafests .

Shaddap and enjoy the ride laugh

Jimmy can stop panicking, there is no chance of promotion with this low budget mini squad.

If a player or two want to move on, and have had a tickle, with a promise of big comparative bucks with a longer contract, with an agent telling ou to keep out of trouble, what do you think some might do ?
I don't look for the rain this time of year. It finds me.
Obviously Boateng is not one, nor McCormick or Hartley, due to circumstance, but certainly Reid and Carey are worrying.

Nothing would surprise me-the manager has certainly been making some odd statements about "very annoyed at how long the injuries are taking to clear up" as well as the references "to the threadbare squad that's the problem", "interesting players in Scotland"-[why exactly would he say that?], etc and Brent's rather ambivalent public utterances the other day. Looks as though there may be trouble brewing to me and January is shaping up to be an interesting month to say the least.

I understand the theory, I just think they're actually injured.

Absolutely. This has been obvious to me for some time. Brent is clearly keen to sell and those players concerned are keen to go. As far as I'm concerned deals have already been done and the players want to avoid injury not to jeopadise moves.
