I think that this shows that the urban powerhouses need to reform of be very worried, no one in the smoke gives a feck about anybody else and hopefully now they will realise they are only half the population and shouldn't get preferential treatment over us.

Don't be so defeatist Ffs, things will settle down, it's time for the scaremongering to stop, it won't help.

Thats the problem though isn't it. Its all might be's and possibles. So far the markets have told us we have made a stupid error. Like complaining about your hotel room and doing a shit in the bed as a protest. Only now you've got to sleep in a shitted bed.

This kind of hotel?

"Last thing I remember, I was
Running for the door
I had to find the passage back
To the place I was before
"Relax, " said the night man,
"We are programmed to receive.
You can check-out any time you like,
But you can never leave! "

For those pleased to be free from an anti-democratic EU this is how our next PM will be elected:

Next Prime minister of UK to be chosen by 150,000 Conservative party members in the next few months from 2-person shortlist made by Tory MPs.

150,000 people will select the PM who will represent 60 million people. How's that for a "democratic deficit"?

The UK is no longer the world's 5th largest economy. The £ has fallen so far that France has overtaken us.

Did he get the result he secretly wanted? Does that explain his relatively anonymous contribution to the remain campaign? Could've cost him the labour leadership.

Chaos ensues. Pound collapsing, PM resigning, no confidence motions, start of the break up of the UK. Scotland will leave in the next year or so.

Our daughter leaves in South London, she says the atmosphere is 'scary', already there are 'gangs' walking around the streets looking for immigrants.

Well done Johnson, Gove and Farage. 3 of the most poisonous individuals ever to be involved in British politics who are interested only in their own careers.

Welcome to a country ruled by bigotry and hatred.

At the end of this decade, should the UK have remained in the EU, we would've lost the the remnants of the rebate won by Margaret Thatcher and that would have seen The UK shoot up above the French to be the second highest net contributor to the EU Kitty after Germany.

The only difference between the Germans, French and the UK was that their money gave them a certain amount of clout, whereas Brussels would simply phone Cameron asking him to put an extra I.7bn in a brown envelope and pop it in the post. After a certain amount of bluster that is exactly what he would do.
