Sad surreal moment Empty

I've just had one. Crying or Very sad

Watching the Chelsea Arsenal match and Chelsea have black armbands on. The commentator then says that the armbands are as a mark of respect for former head of Sports Science Nick Broad, who was killed in a car crash in Paris this week.

Nick was a Plymouth bhey, and an old mate of mine. I knew he had gone to Chelsea a few years back but we had lost touch for one reason or another.

He got his big break when he got a job as a nutritionist at Blackburn Rovers back in 1999. Abiding memory of Nick is seeing in the new Millenium with him on Plymouth Hoe, getting pissed on bottles of Moet & Chandon!

Gutted.
