Herald reports that Luggy wasn't too happy with Argyle's comeback (which stopped Southend going top) and felt his side sat back for most of the second half. The comment that made me laugh was "We settled on 2-0 and you know what football is like, it kicks you in the teeth." He used the 'kick in the teeth' phrase after almost every defeat in his disastrous spell as manager in our final season in the Championship.

Big Luggy fan, but even during our pomp with him in charge, we always seemed to sit back on a lead and he would trot out the same line about sitting back, yet I don't ever recall seeing him going mental on the touchline waving players forward when we were winning?

So either players for years haven't been able to fathom what he's saying in the dressing room, or he's always telling porkies scratch
