Is there any way of comparing (without bias) whether the people of Lancaster or York have the same inferiority complex and insane jealousy that seems to possess the people of Exeter, particularly its football supporters?

Two charged following attack at Plymouth's Minerva Inn

A TEENAGER and a 28-year-old man have been charged with affray following an alleged attack on football supporters at an historic Plymouth pub.

Stefan Adamson and a 16-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons will appear before Plymouth Magistrates' Court on December 30.

The charges relate to an alleged attack at the Minerva Inn, Looe Street, on November 24. A group of 20 males are alleged to have confronted travelling Leyton Orient fan before their team's match against Plymouth Argyle that evening.

Shelly Jones, landlady for five years, told The Herald after the incident a 20-strong group stormed the pub and destroyed furniture. A woman was also injured in the attack from shards of broken glass.
